  “Paul doesn't seem to think marriage is important and even seems to be putting it down,” Ann said. “It makes you wonder why he thought that way.”

  “I have wondered about that myself,” Leroy said. “I think the reason is that he thought that he was living in the last days, and the kingdom of God was coming soon. He didn't seem to consider forming a relationship with a woman to be important since marriage wouldn't exist after the Kingdom of God came. His goal in life was to teach the coming kingdom of God.”

  He thought for a moment and then continued. “Of course, the Kingdom of God never came. So it seems that he lost out on having a wonderful loving relationship with a woman.”

  During church I thought about having a loving relationship with a woman. Leroy didn't used to have that, but now he does. So he knows what that is like. I have a loving relationship with Judy. She treats me well and provides me with lots of sex. My life would not be as enjoyable without her.
